Turkey has issued a direct warning to Israel regarding its actions in Syria, with analysts suggesting this could signal a serious threat of war. Ankara’s stance comes amid growing concerns over what it perceives as Israeli attempts to destabilize and divide Syria.

Recent unprovoked bombings by Israeli forces on key installations in Damascus have drawn strong condemnation from Turkey. Reports indicate these attacks, allegedly orchestrated by Benjamin Netanyahu’s leadership. Aim to create divisions, particularly targeting the leadership of Al-Ahmed Al-Sharar.
Turkey, however, will not tolerate such tactics. Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, speaking on Tuesday, declared Ankara’s readiness to intervene directly to prevent any efforts to divide Syria or establish autonomous rule for militias following conflicts in southern Syria.
Fidan stated, “Turkey will directly intervene to stop any attempt to divide Syria.” He further emphasized Ankara’s preparedness to thwart any possibility of self-governance or independence for militias in southern Syria.
This strong message targets Israel, which Ankara believes is actively working to fracture Syria. Turkish minister’s warning follows recent clashes between Druze and Bedouin communities in southern Syria. Where Israeli forces reportedly exploited the Druze community as a pretext to strike at the heart of Syria. This according to Fidan done to gain trust among border groups.
“Israel seeks a divided Syria, making it unstable, weak, and a burden for the region,” Fidan asserted. He also highlighted the anticipation of Kurdish militias benefiting from this chaos, adding, “We will not let this ploy materialize.”
Turkey views the conflict between the Druze and Bedouin communities as part of Israel’s policy of regional destabilization, a policy Ankara vows will never succeed.
Earlier, Turkish President Erdogan in speech affirmed that Syria will never be allowed to divide. He declared this policy would remain consistent, now and in the future. Erdogan also labeled Israel as a “guest” and “terrorist state” in the region.

Hakan Fidan reiterated that Israel is conducting its “terrorist activities” in southern Syria under the guise of supporting the Druze community. He cautioned that regional groups should not view such chaos as a strategic opportunity, warning that such attempts could lead them to significant disaster.
