Israeli forces launched fresh airstrikes on Gaza Tuesday, violating the cease-fire agreement once again. Two people were killed in Khan Younis following a drone strike, according to Al-Nasser Hospital. In the occupied West Bank, three Palestinians died amid continued Israeli raids.

Despite the truce, Israel has carried out attacks across several regions, targeting residential buildings throughout central and southern Gaza. Multiple civilian structures were bombed in eastern Gaza City and the Bureij refugee camp, local media reported. Several buildings in the “dead corridor” area of southern Gaza were also destroyed, allegedly to isolate Rafah from the rest of the enclave and establish a security buffer zone.
Israeli operations also continued in the occupied West Bank. In Jenin, several Palestinians were killed during raids, while others were detained in refugee camps and surrounding villages.
Meanwhile, Hamas handed over the body of another hostage amid growing Israeli pressure. The group stated that at least 12 more hostages remain buried under the rubble.
Israeli Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi warned that fighting would not stop until all hostages’ remains are recovered. Foreign Minister Israel Katz also declared that Turkish troops would not be allowed to join the proposed U.S.-backed international force to monitor the cease-fire in Gaza.
